Deanna Esquibel Hopkins, MA, LPCC
Deanna Esquibel Hopkins, MA, LPCC specializes in the mental health treatment of children, adolescents, and their families. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Drama Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, CA. She has worked with children and families in our community for 14 years in a variety of settings that include schools, group homes, residential treatment facilities, and community mental health agencies. Deanna’s approach is warm, caring, and based on mutuality, understanding, and acceptance. She has a creative approach and strives to meet the unique concerns and goals of the individuals and families she serves. She combines play therapy, sand tray therapy, art, attachment-based family therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy to translate insight into change. In addition to providing therapy, Deanna facilitates our Cooperative Parenting Class for separated or divorced parents which is offered several times throughout the year.
