INCREASE INSIGHT INTO HOW THE BODY HOLDS STRESSFUL THOUGHTS and FEELINGS.
LEARN SIMPLE TECHNIQUES to RELEASE STRESS, INCREASE RESILIENCE and VITALITY.
No previous experience with art or meditation is needed as we identify inner physical sensations, encourage release and relief of stressful symptoms, and discover new ways to respond to personal and professional challenges.
REGISTRATION FEE is $500 for this twelve-hour experiential group process. 12 CEUs offered
Participants will experience how the energies of stressful inner tensions can be moved and externalized, out of the body and into visual imagery.
Journaling, meditation, and image-making exercises will guide participants into healing self expression.
KATHERINE PARAS, MS, ATR-BC, LPAT, APP:
Practicing art therapy since 1973 and somatic art psychotherapy since 1988, Katherine Paras is a licensed and board certified art therapist, with extensive experience in diverse subtle energetic/biofield therapies. Currently teaching at Southwestern College, she was a founding faculty member of New York University Graduate Art
Therapy Program and has taught in many settings, including Columbia University’s Spirituality Mind Body Institute and conferences for the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine.
